Don't wait for pain.

Tooth and gum problems stay painless until it is too late, and they are preventable. Dr Mooketsi and the oral health team care for families in Zeerust and Lehurutshe, from first check-up to full restoration.

Before you visit

A few basics so your appointment goes smoothly.

A dentist is not expensive. Neglecting your oral health is.

  1. First visit: bring your ID, or a copy of the birth certificate for a child.
  2. All new patients need a diagnostic X-ray, paid by cash or medical aid.
  3. Medical aids do not pay for gold, so gold work is cash only. Ask at reception about the birth-month reward.
  4. Cleaning includes scaling, polishing and restorations. We can do these together or separately, your choice.
  5. We only treat patients who appear on the medical aid.
  6. We never claim from your medical aid for work we did not do.
  7. Know your medical aid benefits. They are your right.

Oral health at your child's school

Dr Mooketsi and the oral health team run awareness campaigns at schools and early learning centres.

  • Children are examined at school and a consent letter goes home with the findings.
  • Parents or guardians sign the letter and the child brings it back.
  • Treatment is available on our mobile clinic at the school, or at the surgery.
  • Cash and medical aid are both accepted.

Our promise

  • Every patient is treated to the best of our knowledge and skill, with their well-being first.
  • We practise with conscience, dignity and integrity.
  • Our goals: fewer lost teeth in Lehurutshe and Zeerust, healthy teeth and gums, and a bright, confident smile.
